This is the third in my Twink Blood interviews and for this one I went straight to the writer of the movie, Andy Kay. I knew with the work schedule that Andy has, that we'd not be able to sit down and use an instant messenger like I did with Felix and Chase, we instead used e-mail. I asked questions, e-mailed them to Andy and waited for him to respond. It took about two days with this process, the answers are short and to the point, it's typical Andy Kay, half tongue in cheek, mostly serious though in his retorts. Get your copy of Twink Blood at

The Hot Foot: Andy Kay, finally you return to the Hot Foot, it's been forever since you interviewed here. Let's get started because at any time Bryan will be needing you for something... Obviously the idea of Twink Blood came from the popular HBO series True Blood. How long did it take the idea to go from your head to paper to finally being filmed?
Andy Kay: The only real connection with the TV series is the idea that a group of people/community are unaware of the vampires living with them and are therefore unsuspecting of any attacks. This is the first porn script I've written where I really put a lot of effort into the lines and the flow. There's a lot of foreshadowing and character development that I dont think you see in other movies like it. It's a serious film with comedy as a background which is unlike many other porn films as we all know. Also, I heard a lot of questions about why Felix was attacked in the first scene as I didn't write any build up for it. That was very much on purpose. I wanted the viewer to recognize that the vampire was attracted to "straight" men and not necessarily straight men he had met before. The attacks could happen at anytime and anywhere.
The Hot Foot: I see, Why did'nt you write a bigger roll for yourself?
Andy Kay: I was needed behind the camera. It's a big strain to have me model now because I do so much behind the scenes work. I'm comfortable with the cameo I wrote for myself though.
The Hot Foot: When it was time to cast the actors, how did you decide who would play the roles?
Andy Kay: Felix (Russo) was our new exclusive so he was a given. We had been impressed by the acting skills of Chase (Harding) and Miles (Pride) in another production that will be out soon and decided to bring them both back. We chose Patrick (Kennedy) and Phillip (Ashton) because they're old time Boycrush models who are probably some of the best models on the site. Edie was my roommate and one of my best friends.
The Hot Foot: Is there going to be a sequel to Twink Blood, Andy?
Andy Kay: We've considered it, however we have a lot of ideas for new movies and I think some of the newer ones outweigh a sequel. I think the vampire thing is a little played out now anyway.
The Hot Foot: Now that you've been behind the camera about the same about of time you spent in front of the camera, do you miss the full time modeling or do you prefer writing, editing, and filming?

Andy Kay: I think it's about the same. I'll never be able to go back to just modeling though, it drives me crazy not helping out behind the scenes if I'm on set.
The Hot Foot: Most of the cast I talked to were so impressed with Felix Russo's performance at this point in his young career, as an officer with BoyCrush, I'm sure you're aware of his talents and how far he can go in this industry? I was impressed with him during the interview I had with him. I thought to myself "now here's a kid that has his head on straight and knows where he's going."
Andy Kay: We knew after his interview that he was going to be great. He's a nice guy too, I dont see any reason why he won't keep moving forward at the same pace.

The Hot Foot: What's new with BoyCrush? Any new models we can look forward to?
Andy Kay: We have several who are very promising. One the site now are Kenny Monroe and Christopher Robin, both of which have made some outstanding videos and are very likely to continue making them in the future.
The Hot Foot: How are your feet? It's been awhile since they showed up on ToeGasms or BoyCrush. Will you be doing any work at ToeGasms so we might see your sexy feet again?
Andy Kay: They're still there, you never know though about working for ToeGasms again. I know my feet have a huge following out there!
The Hot Foot: How is the new house coming along? Are you doing much in the way of refurbishing it?
Andy Kay: I just got done painting the living room. I'm installing another driveway pad next weekend and then working on the front lawn which is a little dead. It'll be a constant process but it's the kinda thing I like to do.
The Hot Foot: I have the perfect Idea for a house warming gift!
Andy Kay: Oh yea? What are you getting me?
The Hot Foot: Waxxed fruit and those big glass grapes that all my aunts displayed on their dining room tables and thought were fashionable from the seventies... I can't tell you, it'll spoil the surprise!
Andy Kay: Oh okay, I'll send you a my color scheme, but the glass grapes sound cool.
The Hot Foot: I would never buy glass grapes! Okay Andy, I feel bad keeping you this long with the pile of work you have on your desk, so take it easy, have a great holiday and you know you're welcome back anytime!
Andy Kay: Happy Holidays to everyone in foot land! Keep it wrapped and buh bye!
